Grade selection
Papain powder or liquid? Choosing the working format
A process-led comparison of dry blending, direct metering, storage, hygiene and scale-up considerations.

Powder supports compact, dry handling
Powder can suit dry blending and logistics where dust controls, accurate weighing and moisture protection are already established. Dispersion and local concentration should be considered in the trial design.
Liquid supports direct metering
A liquid formulation may simplify pumping, closed transfer or staged addition. The process must account for formulation compatibility, storage temperature, microbial controls and the activity concentration supplied.
Let the plant decide
The best format is the one that can be received, stored, dosed and distributed consistently in the real facility. Review operator safety, cleaning, package size, transfer losses and scale-up accuracy together.
