Product overview
Designed for an informed trial.
Crude Papain is a less-refined enzyme material obtained from papaya latex. Natural materials can show wider variation in colour, composition and activity than refined grades, so buyers should qualify each specification carefully. This product is intended for technically capable industrial customers and is not automatically suitable for food, feed, cosmetic, oral-care or pharmaceutical use. The destination application and required regulatory status must be agreed before supply.

Product FAQ
Before you qualify a grade
What does the TU activity figure mean?
TU is an activity result, not simply a percentage of papain. Compare grades only when the test method, sample basis and reporting units are the same. ProEnzyme confirms these details in the specification and COA.
How do I choose the right activity?
Start with the substrate, pH, temperature, contact time, batch size and target result. A controlled trial normally gives a better answer than choosing the highest activity number.
Can ProEnzyme support commercial supply?
Yes. ProEnzyme is a papain producer and supplier. Share your grade, volume, destination country, packaging and documentation needs so availability can be confirmed.
